New Haven Road Race

Lace up your sneakers and join us for an energetic morning of racing as we hand out waters, keeping all the runners hydrated. Whether you are aiming to conquer a long-distance course or just looking for some family-friendly active fun, join our friends and families at the starting line.

Event Overview

  • Location: Corner of Chapel and State Street, New Haven, CT 

  • Capacity: Limited to 5,500 runners (spots fill up fast!)

  • Events Offered: 20K, Half Marathon, Half Marathon Relay, 5K, and a Kids Fun Run

  • When: Monday, September 7, 2026 (Labor Day)

Race Day Schedule

  • 8:10 AM: Kids Fun Run Start

  • 8:30 AM: 20K & Half Marathon Start

  • 8:30 AM: 5K Start

Bring your friends to form a Half Marathon Relay team, push your limits in the 20K, or cheer us on to kick off your morning. Expect great energy, a beautiful course through New Haven, and an incredible community of runners to celebrate with at the finish line!

Pizza Costume Party

World’s Largest Pizza Costume Party!

Join us at Taste of New Haven on the New Haven Green as we attempt to break the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the largest gathering of people dressed as pizza! Proceeds will support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater New Haven.

Event Details

  • When: Friday, September 25 | 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

  • Where: New Haven Green, New Haven, CT

  • Included: Your ticket includes a custom pizza slice costume to wear and keep!

  • Bonus: Takes place alongside the A-1 Toyota Apizza Feast with food, drinks, music, and cycling races.
