As the school year came to a close, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater New Haven celebrated BIG across all three of our Clubhouse locations—New Haven, Ulbrich-North Haven, and Ulbrich-Wallingford. Each site hosted a unique end-of-year event filled with fun, laughter, and meaningful community connection. Together, we reflected on an incredible year of growth, learning, and unforgettable memories.
New Haven Clubhouse: Carnival Fun & Community Joy
The New Haven Clubhouse wrapped up the year with a vibrant carnival-themed celebration! Our talented staff hosted fun-filled activities like face painting, tie-dye, classic carnival games, and exciting bike raffles. Families gathered to enjoy a cookout with hot dogs and hamburgers grilled by our very own COO, Jeff—thank you, Jeff!
A huge shoutout to Extra Gems – Event Rentals for bringing even more joy with popcorn and snowcone machines that added that perfect carnival flair. It was a day full of smiles and celebration for our amazing Club members and families!
Ulbrich-North Haven Clubhouse: Field Day Meets Dance Party
Ulbrich-North Haven closed out the school year in true party style! From sizzling cookouts and field day challenges to a tropical Hawaiian-themed dance party, the event had something for everyone. Members and families soaked up the fun and sunshine as they celebrated the end of a successful school year.
The Ulbrich-North Haven team sends heartfelt thanks to all the families for their ongoing support and partnership. We’re proud of all the progress our youth made this year and can’t wait to see what summer brings!
Ulbrich-Wallingford Clubhouse: A Classic Community Celebration
At Ulbrich-Wallingford, our End-of-Year Party brought the entire community together for an afternoon of fun at the Clubhouse and Grand Street Park. Families enjoyed delicious food, desserts, inflatable obstacle courses, a dunk tank, and even a Human Hungry Hippo inflatable that kept the laughter going.
Thanks to our amazing volunteers, dedicated staff, and supportive families, it was the perfect way to close out a meaningful and memory-filled year.
A Year to Remember
Across all of our sites, this school year has been one of growth, joy, and impact. From academic achievements and leadership development to fun afterschool activities and special events, our Club members have made us proud every step of the way.
