The 6th Annual Calcagni Real Estate Golf Classic was a resounding success, raising $37,000 to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater New Haven’s programs and operations!
With the most golfers and sponsors we’ve ever had—nearly 130 golfers and 27 sponsors—this year’s event was the biggest yet. Originally postponed due to rain, the rescheduled outing in August brought perfect summer weather, with hot and sunny skies setting the stage for a day of fun, fundraising, and community support.
The funds raised will directly impact our youth by supporting key programs, scholarships, and general club operations, helping ensure that local Connecticut kids continue to have access to safe and enriching opportunities at our clubhouses.
A Day to Remember
After a fun-filled morning of golf, participants gathered for a celebratory luncheon featuring inspiring guest speakers.
Vincent Cervoni, Mayor of Wallingford, kicked off the program with a heartfelt message about the importance of community in shaping the future of our youth.
We were also honored to hear from two of our former BGCGNH Youth of the Year winners: Mackenzie Prescott (2022) and Arlyn Sandoval (2021). Their powerful stories reminded everyone of the transformative impact the Boys & Girls Clubs continue to have in the lives of young people.
